Rights and Responsibilities as a Leader
As a leader it is important that you preform to the best of your abilities, fulfilling all the responsibilities that are expected to be met. It is important to know when to draw the line and when to engage further. As a leader you also have certain rights that you are entitled to that ensure your safety and well being. Through my experience I learned that these boundaries and entitlements help to secure yourself in a leadership role and create awareness of certain requirements. They had helped in my leadership experience and I believe can offer the same assistance to others.

Personally
I believe that the dominate rights you have as a leader are training and
freedom from discrimination. Unfortunately the freedom from discrimination,
harassment and respect are not carried out with everyone in modern society
although they should be. As a leader we are entitled to these rights but as
humans and creatures of the earth do we not deserve equality? However,
especially as a leader you deserve this earned respect and since this is a
common problem amongst humanity that developed roles of authority holding these
rights can be a positive. For example as a female, becoming a recognized leader
may be hard in today’s male dominated society so the set guidelines encouraging
the respect to the female can be beneficial to this situation. Personally,
cases like this, ethical, cultural, racial, and religious or disabilities
segregation (unnamed hierarchy) is why I feel that in today’s stereo-typical
minded world that the right to freedom of discrimination is so important. In
addition I believe that opportunity of training in your assigned leadership are
is exciting. Commonly you become a leader for something you are passionate
about, take interest in. Any opportunity to expand my knowledge for something
that I love is recognized to me as a privilege. The additional learning of the
topic builds confidence and prepares you to further help others, assisting in a
smooth teaching.

For my own beliefs I think that all these aspects are significant to
be a good leader. I believe there is more pressure on you at the top, rather
then the bottom. However all are quite easy to follow once agreed upon. The
topic of respect like mentioned earlier is so significant to me. To get
respect you have to give respect. Those who fall lower in terms of power will
appreciate you, listen, and show you increased respect once you start to view
them as equals. It is so significant to show everyone who is under your wing
that they are valued and have meaning. This increases opportunity for things
to smoothly run and be looked after. Alongside, it is important the you treat
everyone ethically. It is now your responsibility to assist in resolving
conflicts, bullying, or harassment between those whom you are monitoring.
This may aid in creating a safe place for everyone and help things run
efficiently. If students approach you confiding in you a problem it is
expected that you do the best of your ability to help solve it, especially if
interfering in the learning or emotions.
